    The structure

Why a price from Europe misleads

A figure seen at a European agency is almost never the cost of the safari. It usually covers offices, marketing and the layers between you and whoever runs the trip. The lodges, the guides and the vehicles are the same. What changes is who keeps the margin.

How that structure works — and why Perfect Safaris exists — is explained on About. The brand story stays on the home page.

Perfect Safaris is the advisory house: we do not operate the safari. A licensed local operator in Kenya or Tanzania runs the trip, and the contract is signed with them. How we choose is in Who operates.

    The level

    Orientative ranges, without numbers

The geography, the guides and the vehicles stay. What changes is the stay.

    I

    Mid-range

Quality lodges, private vehicle and a dedicated guide. The balanced register for a first safari in Tanzania.

    II

    Luxury

More selective lodges and camps, more intimacy, a tighter itinerary.

    III

    Ultra-luxury

The most exclusive camps, private and tailor-made.

    Includes

Stay by level — lodge, private vehicle and guide.

    Does not include

A published figure. It closes in the proposal, once there are dates, a lodge and group size.

Prices depend on dates, lodges and group size. We give you a closed figure in the proposal.

    The trip

    What’s included and what’s not

    Includes

    • Lodge stay, by level
    • Private vehicle and guide
    • A route of about 5 to 8 days
    • Two or three parks, with ground transfers

    Not included

International flights. You book those; we coordinate your arrival on the ground.

    The map

    Parks

    Serengeti

The plains. Migration concentrates between July and October and is what most moves camp availability.

    Ngorongoro

The crater. It adds different days from the Serengeti and changes the pace of the trip.

    Zanzibar

The combo lengthens the journey: a few days of coast after the savannah, in the same proposal.

    The path

    Book direct

Form, proposal, call and reserve — with the local operator, not an extra layer.

    I

    Form

You share dates, group and how you want to travel.

    II

    Proposal

In 24–48h a tailored proposal arrives, with the closed figure.

    III

    Call

If it fits, we adjust lodge, pace and parks.

    IV

    Reserve

Confirmed with the local operator. Until then, no commitment.

    The fit

    Who it’s for

It fits if you want a Tanzania safari with a local operator and the closed figure in the proposal — not on this page. It does not fit if you want a published number before dates, lodge and group size are set.

Tanzania is built around the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, with migration between July and October and the option to close in Zanzibar. Kenya is another country and another price guide: the Masai Mara and Amboseli are not explained here.

By submitting, you agree to be contacted. We never share your details.

    1. Dates, lodge and group size, together with the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and whether you add Zanzibar. There is no published figure on this page. You receive it closed in the proposal.

    2. They are not the same trip. The Serengeti is plains and migration — especially July to October. Ngorongoro is the crater, with another pace and other days. The combination is what shapes the proposal, and the figure arrives closed.

    3. Yes. A Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari can close with a few days in Zanzibar. The coast lengthens the trip and changes the stay. That leg sits in the same proposal, without a published number here.

    4. The lodges, guides and vehicles can be the same. What changes is the commercial layer between you and the local operator — offices, marketing and margin. We work with verified local operators and close the figure in your proposal. We do not publish invented savings percentages on this page.
